The YMCA is a community organization that brings people together and impact an individuals whole body - spirit, mind and body. In order to do this, we need help from volunteers.
The Bible tells us that like a body, we each have been given by our Creator special talents - or gifts. The YMCA is a wonderful place to share your gifts with others.
Our YMCA's goal is to have a schedule filled with art/drama and language classes, support groups, Bible studies, book clubs, mom and dad programs and other ideas that will make our community stronger.

We currently need volunteers for the following activities:
Under Water Easter Egg Hunt - Saturday, April 11th from 8:30AM until 11:00AM
Healthy Kid's Day - Saturday, April 18th from 9AM until Noon
Summer Camp - Arts and Crafts time (all Summer)

I think it is great that the "Y" is taking such a pro-active role in bringing the community together. It is refreshing to have a place that promotes the strengthening of the things that we hold most dear: faith, family and community. Thank you so much for all you are doing to make this possible. ReplyDeleteYes, we do offer adult swim lessons. In fact, we had our first adult swim class late last year and it was a huge success! We will begin to advertise for a class in the coming weeks.
